Peter Glassford's collage work began in 2006 putting to use the discarded wood cut-offs of his furniture factory. The random shapes of scrap, natural and yet made, are the basic material and the motivation behind creating warm, abstract fields of texture. There are no patterns or repeats to these accidental arrangements that are then polished, finished with lacquer and buffed with wax
